A quiet little quack
muscovy duckling

You may have noticed I don't exactly concentrate on "cutesy" photos. But I'll still grab them from time to time. One spring we had a fertile season for the waterfowl at the pond, where I used to live in Florida, and one mother Muscovy Duck (Cairina moschata) was pretty blasé about close approaches to her ducklings. The ducklings, of course, take their cue from momma, so going in tight to this one was easier than it should have been. Seems to have worked well with the grass and the sky.
