Right place, right time. The dawn wasn't clearing at all like I'd hoped, and the skies remained overcast during sunrise. But the clouds began producing some strange patterns, so I hung around to work with them. The formation shown only lasted about three minutes, so it's unlikely I would have caught it otherwise. I timed it with the pelicans passing through, and coincidentally caught the breaker in the same line.

I'm undecided as to whether this works better as a horizontal composition or a vertical one, but luckily shot with enough framing area to be able to use both. Feel free to forward me your opinions, since I'm likely to be marketing this one as an accent piece.
