\"\"I’m Al Denelsbeck – nature photographer, amateur naturalist, critical thinker, armchair philosopher, former wildlife rehabilitator, and whatever else I take an interest in, which explains the breadth of post material. I tacked the blog onto my nature photography site because I could, so posts regarding nature photography and interesting outdoor topics are largely interspersed with critical-thinking, a fervent interest of mine ever since I realized the lack of it leads to so many issues in the world today. Yes, I’m an atheist, but no, it’s not catching, even from reading, as invasive as that is – and I don’t bring the subject up in conversation or photo lessons, ever (which is not to say that I won’t respond if someone else<\/em> does.) Part of the point of a blog is to have a billboard virtually no one ever sees, rather than being an obsessive boor in person ;-). When I’m found posting about religion, I’m not after converting anyone, I’m just addressing some of the worst practices.<\/p>\n

If you want to use any of them, contact me<\/a>, but doing so without<\/em> permission is theft, pure and simple – just because it’s on the internet does not make it free to use;<\/strong> it’s amazing how few people recognize this.<\/p>\n

If you’re wondering about some kind of fancy educational background, or what instigated my critical-thinking drive, it doesn’t exist. My contributions here simply come from my interests and poking around. When you find something wrong, well, now you know why. I can stand corrections.<\/p>\n

I can occasionally be found in comments sections and forums, mostly on the Blogroll sites on the right sidebar.
