There&#8217;s something captivating about it, forlorn and yet somehow inviting. It&#8217;s easy to imagine taking a kayak up that glassy channel, endeavoring not to break the silence, not because there was anyone nearby to disturb, but simply because it seemed <em>wrong<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>There&#8217;s another aspect of this shot that I won&#8217;t mention now &#8211; maybe in a few days. Or maybe not.
