Just shut up.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/wading-in.net\/walkabout\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/AssholeFrogs.jpg\" alt=\"pair of noisy copes grey treefrogs Dryophytes chrysoscelis calling during rain\" width=\"750\" height=\"732\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-39531\" \/><br clear=\"all\"\/>Actually, the white thing is a bucket catching rainbarrel overflow, so I popped the second one into it and carried them both down into the yard well away from my door &#8211; we&#8217;ll see if this works&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>*   *   *<\/p>\n<p>EDIT<strong>: No<\/strong>, it did <em>not<\/em> work &#8211; before I even finished this post, they abandoned the bucket and crossed the yard to get back to the rainbarrel. I mean, we&#8217;ve had eggs and tadpoles in the same buckets, they seem to believe they&#8217;re fine for such purposes, but <em>noooo<\/em>, they gotta have the rainbarrel as a perch while audio is being recorded.
