Really and for true, it’s the last day of the month – I checked three times. I spent almost as much time on that as I did trying to render those characters in the title. Which is much more than I spent shooting abstract images this month, a time period best defined as, “almost nothing,” so we’re going with images from last month that are also sorting finds. Such as:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Is it still fog when it collects onto a surface, or does it become mist? Or dew? What’s the correct terminology here – it’s important. When you figure it out, apply it to this, which is [moisture adhering to a spiderweb in larger droplets], magnified a bit and with selective focus. This was taken on the foggy morning outing<\/a> on Jordan Lake, and while the overall frame didn’t work, this cropped portion does. I think. Your call.<\/p>\n

This is definitely<\/em> fog – unless it’s a ground-level cloud. Or really fine mist. But the different amounts of it between the heron and the background provided an impressionistic air to the scene – unless it’s neo-classical. Or hyper-surrealist. It’s an air, anyway. A very moist air.<\/p>\n

There will be more images before we abandon the month completely – ah, but how many more? I was about to say, not enough to beat August 2021’s record of 102, but you know what?
