After a ridiculously hot summer, autumn weather came in abruptly, and Saturday was perpetual overcast and a little chilly, so scenic options were extremely limited and it wasn&#8217;t a good time to get in the water. Sunday was better, but we were already fairly worn out from Saturday (lots of hiking, and surprisingly vertically too,) so we were taking it easier. More pictures will be along, but I still have a Tip Jar post to do. Right now we have&#8230; well, it&#8217;s a juvenile gull, a larger one, but several species all look like this at this time of year and my familiarity with gulls is minimal, meaning it&#8217;s going to remain unidentified right now &#8211; I liked the plumage and it was hanging out quite close by, so I took pictures.
