Going low for a different perspective, with maximum depth-of-field (f8 is as far as that lens goes.) This is the same day, same location, and in fact the same stump as the one seen here, which is why I use these two images to help illustrate why a photographer should approach a subject from as many ways as possible. Plus I like the textures in this one.
