Do you get the impression I like time-exposures?
We're back at Minnehaha Falls in north Georgia, looking for something other than the classic waterfall photos. I fancied this log and ripples and set up for a long exposure, late in the day in full shade. The original slide is pretty blue, very cold looking, so this rendition was been warmed quite a bit while still trying to hold the muted shade coloring. With time exposures you're never sure what you've gotten until the film comes back.
But it's pics like this that make me carry that heavy tripod everywhere I go, including up the steep mountain trails leading to these falls.
