jordan lake sunburst reflection

A weathered stump on Jordan Lake in North Carolina played host to a budding plant, and I was trying to figure out how to make this work the best. The sun beaming through the haze and reflecting from the water was getting in my eyes as I maneuvered around for perspective, and suddenly I knew what I wanted. A small aperture (well, the smallest available for the Pro 90) turned the reflection into a starburst, mirroring the shape of the leaves, and the still grey water almost fools the eye by resembling the sky. I like the accent of the wood and moss textures as well.
