In my youth, there was a kid in my neighborhood found dead of massive cerebral hemorrhaging, and it took a little while for forensic pathologists to eventually piece together the cause. Back then, it was common entertainment for children to play vinyl records at a higher speed than intended, to produce the 'Chipmunk' version of the song, and this kid had apparently played the BeeGees' Tragedy at 78 RPM instead of 33 1/3.
