One more courtesy of Jim Kramer’s Alaska trip, which I saved for the Monday color post. I’m not even going to try to identify it – the botany is for someone else. Just appreciate the colors and contrast.

No idea, it was someone’s “lawn” on the hilly side of Juneau. There were about 30 square feet of just these in various stages of blooming. Approximately 8 inches tall and the fully bloomed flowerets were about ½ inch across. Dandylionesk leaves….
I have to admit the idea of “the hilly side of Juneau” has me confused. You mean the top side?
