Yes indeed, October has to go pick up the kids, so it’s dropping a couple of abstracts by the pool in a hurry before anyone can ask any questions. They look a little something like this:
One of those times
Bombarded by countless* messages pointing out my error, I realized that I didn’t do that little chant while I was preparing the month-end post, and somehow scheduled it for yesterday instead of today. In my defense**, it’s been a busy week and especially weekend, with too many simultaneous things vying for attention, and so I missed this and looked like*** an idiot.
So, another abstract
I ventured out today, partially to get some exercise, partially to see what there might be to photograph, but mostly to see if I could find any mantis egg cases. I was completely foiled in that primary goal, not spotting even one, but I snagged a handful of photos, including some most unexpected, so not a total loss. But yes, the quest for egg cases goes on…
For now, we have what can be found
I have tons of photos to post, but little time and motivation at the moment, so a quick one from the most recent outing, as a dragonfly was backlit by the sun – I cropped tight to bright out those wing details.
More to come, just don’t embarrass us both by asking when…
