The uploads for August still won’t compete with July (144) and March (126) of this year, but they will set a record for August uploads within the ol’ blogarooty, and to be honest, I have plenty of images to put up – I’m just remaining thematic right now, and saving some for a slower day. Lovely spring flowers… um…

Actually, it’s nice not to have all of the color coming up in May. A few of these I grabbed in passing, and a few I specifically set out the other morning to immortalize.

We’ll start with the ginger lily (Hedychium coronarium,) which we obtained years ago in an effort to make more of a habitat for the Carolina anoles, something that now sounds amusing when I say it.
