You know the drill, or at least you would if you were a regular reader that was not strictly imaginary: it’s the last day of the month and time for the end of the month abstract, or my own esoteric interpretation of that term. Which looks like this:

May 29th is Blurred Bird Day, which requires that you say it fast and never clarify it to anyone, because that’s half the fun. It should come as no surprise that, even as obscure as this holiday is, I’m fully prepared.


Kindly note that blurring the bird by failing to focus tightly does not count – it must be motion blur, preferably the bird’s.

Back from 2005, we have an experimental image that showed proof of concept (which wasn’t really necessary – I knew the concept was solid,) but needed work on the execution. Late but early

Wholly without intending, I have two more entries for the end of the month abstract – shot right at the end of the month, as in, this morning. However, the official post had already gone up by the time that I shot them (it was scheduled to appear at 1 AM,) so I’m just adding a post.
