Another winter storm rolled in this week, but less severe than predicted – what we ended up getting was sleet and freezing rain, enough to coat everything but not much more than that. Now in daylight
Naturally, I wasn’t going to leave the snow pics at just some night time exposures – not when we got such a decent, scenic coverage. It’s been a few years since we had a proper snow, and my basic attitude is, once a year, for photos’ sake, and that’s it.
Nothing too scenic here, just the northern portion of the backyard pond – the wood ducks from

These are all from yesterday, when the temperature here topped 18°c – not bad for December 30th, and I think it got even higher today. A cold snap is on its way, with the possibility of it dipping below -5°c, so these pics are in appreciation, and to refer back to when we’re not going out at all.
