Even then, ‘snot art

And so we come to one last image that we still maintain, despite any impressions, is not art. Because we don’t do art.

Another one shot blind, simply holding the camera down just above the sand, roughly aiming and allowing autofocus to do its thing. What do you mean, “Why didn’t you get down on the wet sand and do it right?” I’m old. Not to mention, wet sand, ick.

But then, ‘snot art

Yeah, another from this vantage, but hey – we had the view right out the back decks, so we used it, okay? What would you do go down among the trees where you couldn’t see squat? Gimme a break…

We didn’t know the kayakers, either – they were from one of the neighboring houses on the sound, the dock with the read more

Initial ‘snot art

I was going to call these posts ‘Fart Break,’ because as I’ve said, I don’t do art, but then thought, Naah, that’s too gross, so I went with a title that at least spells out that it’s not art. Much better.

On the negative side 2

I guess I’m not shocking anyone when I say this is not how I intended this image to look at all. And it’s a shame, because it was a rare opportunity that might actually have come out with some artistic merit. I know, right?

The scene opens on a casual photo competition on this thing that used to exist called, ‘Usenet,’ that somehow died in favor of chatrooms (pretty much the read more

Beans & burritos, part one

You may well ask, what, exactly, is that title supposed to mean? Well, it refers to the idea that I don’t really do artsy stuff, so this must be fartsy stuff instead. Basically, just throwing down a bunch of recent photos for the sake of it – not everything has to have exposition.
