Finally getting back to the beach pics – would have been nice to have them up within the last month to drive the numbers up a little, but I was lazy. And really, you’re going to see a little too much of the same thing here, because it wasn’t the most productive of days photographically and the conditions were fairly narrow, but still better than the featureless

September sidles out
Waiting until everyone’s attention was on the couple fighting over by the guacamole, September slips quietly out the door, but not before leaving a couple of abstracts on the gift table. Hey, why is it that on birthdays you open all the gifts in front of everyone, but for weddings you do it in the privacy of your own home? It’s completely ruined the fun of gag gifts…

I have a handful of images from a recent outing – well, four days ago – to feature here, but other things have been taking priority and I’ve been finding myself overextended, which I am now correcting. This does mean trashing some major plans for the time being, though it’s probably for the best. Which doesn’t mean I’m happy about it.

Another one shot blind, simply holding the camera down just above the sand, roughly aiming and allowing autofocus to do its thing. What do you mean, “Why didn’t you get down on the wet sand and do it right?” I’m old. Not to mention, wet sand, ick.
