I know I tend to cycle around the same handful of photo and video subjects herein, but let’s face it: I have easy access to several different forms of wildlife without even leaving the property, so this is what I’m going to have the most photos of, as well as being able to observe behavior better than I ever have before. At least I haven’t fixated on just one subject…

It’s been interesting living right on the edge of an ecosystem, and I know that makes little sense because we’re all within an ecosystem no matter what, but what I mean is, we can observe the behavior of the wildlife that uses the ponds throughout the year, at all times of the day and night, and so patterns emerge. The function of getting established at the new Walkabout Estates is going much slower than intended, primarily not our fault – we’re still waiting for the truck with most of our belongings to arrive.
